    Thanks in advance,

$40-$125 for just the SSE on your gun.

If you buy from them $0-$125...

Call the shop you are thinking about using for specifics...

All the ones I have contacted are around $100, they say it is free on a pistol you buy from them but they mark up the price by about that much anyway.

Plus out of state tax. I think it was worth it.

There isn't any out of tax required, just CA tax. It was about $1045 otd to get a $850 gun into this state but yes it was worth it to get a brand new 70 series Colt

EDIT: Yes out of state tax which CA collected but I had that on my original post.

PRK Arms in Fresno charges up to $100 for a SSE.
We The People Firearms in Clovis has no up charge for a SSE. Best LGS around by far! Selection on hand is not as big as some of the big guys but the owner Ryan is a great guy to deal with.
I've also bought from Tracy Rifle and Pistol in your area and they are also great to deal with, I bought a couple LCP's there SSE mark up was abought $40 bucks , standard SSE markup on a LCP.

We recently bought a Taurus PT1911-B1 from We The People our OTD price was lower than PRKS asking price before fees. Oh and the PT1911-B1 build quality is beautiful we were amazed it looked and felt like a Springfield much nicer than the RIA Tacticle we were considering and its been 100% reliable.

Mike at OC Armory charges ($25 dros, $45 transfer fee, and $55 sse) for $125 total. I just sse'd my hk45c thru him, gets out of jail on tues. like previous post said, if you buy the gun directly thru them, sse is included.

I usually see between $0 and $25 extra for SSE. The prices people are listing above are ridiculously high IMHO. I'm not sure I'd ever buy a SSE at those prices.

Do said places charge for rental fees for the sse on top? (rental fee for barrel and what not)

Any ideas/examples on what they charge for specific guns? Just wondering if they charge more than some of these other places with higher sse fees.
