can a para warthog slide/barrel fit on a double stack frame?

So... I may have scrounged the top end of a para warthog and I want to do something fun

I want to stick it on a full sized 1911 frame.... Possibly a doublestack....

I know ill have to machine the dust cover off but what else will it take?

Has anyone swapped their warthog top end onto anything else?

The frame rails and critical dimensions should be the same across all frame sizes.
That changes is the dust over length and mag well length.
Officers might be a little funky though.
Was the warthog an officers upper?

I have a colt commander lower I'll trade you for a govt lower if you have something in similar shape to my commander...

I think the warthog is shorter than a commander isn't it?

I was thinking about doing an 80% so I can do a few rather outrageous frame mods

I got the 3phase hooked up tonight and the mill is now wired up too.
All that's left is to level and hook up the surface grinder and I'm at 100% capabilities again...

I don't own any Para's or double-stack 1911's, but there definitely is a difference between a Commander/Officer/Defender frame and a full-size Government frame. The shorter 1911's use shorter frame rails and relocate the vertical abuttment by .100 in order to get more slide travel.
