Freedom munitions brass trade in program.

Anyone used it yet? They offer $2.50 a pound of brass, any caliber, dirty, and still primed. You send it in and they credit the money on your next purchase.

Is it worth it? I probably have ~30 pounds of mixed brass from 9mm to 357 to 5.56 and .308. My master plan was to start reloading soon but time and funds have limited me in doing so. And now i need ammo.

Looking for people with experience in the credit program.

However, he lives for that day when he will be able to use his warrior skills and mindset to keep the wolf from harming the sheep."

honestly, If you plan to reload, then just keep the brass. how much does it cost to ship the brass to them, by the pound?

    I think 9mm is sold about $30-$35 / 1000 for cleaned brass.

Edit: Oh, yeah, for sure keep the .308! Keep .45 as well. 9mm is everywhere.

    Do they take .22lr?

Do they pay for shipping? If not, shipping will cost more than the brass is worth defeating the whole purpose right?

I've done it. It cost me about $15 to send 30 lbs of brass in a large priority mail box. It was mostly 9mm that I was not going to do anything with. The turnaround time was surprisingly fast and their new ammo is top notch. They even gave me more credit than I was expecting. I would definitely do it again.

Hmm. You make a good point. I just need to sort everything.
