    What is your first handgun?

Why did you choose that handgun? Or who gave it to you? Do you still have it?

Sig P226R in 9mm. Bought it on recommendation from a friend in 2007. Approx 12,000 rounds downrange, still ticking like a clock.

We in Bangor, Maine now baby.

3 screw Single Six with a nice set of leathers. I gave a roommate $25 for it when I was 19. Put $20 into a new ejector system (it was missing) and sold it for $75.

Sig P226 purchased in 1995. Sold it to my brother because I was standardizing on .45 ACP handguns... Regret the sale now and am looking to replace it. Uggh...

Bought a Sig SP2022 9mm, chose it because it was a GREAT value, a Sig, and 9mm doesn't break the bank!

It kicks a little harder than its full metal brothers, but I love it and still have it!

I turned 21 in the eighties and wanted a 9mm Beretta like in Lethal Weapon, I was attracted by the large capacity magazines, but the Taurus (Brazillian Beretta) was much cheaper and being 21 that was a big deal. It is still my home defense weapon to this day.
                          Great gun.

Bersa 380, cheap, stylish, good reviews, fit in hand,

looks like PPK, decent size for gripping yet still concealable, 6 or 8 rd mags, about the cheapest recommended self defense gun around, "fully featured" with DA/SA/decocker/safety and I had stumbled into a large stock of 380 ammo. Good gun if you need to loan or for girl to use.

Also, good working, problem-free locking internal safety. Most here dis the internal safety but I think it has its uses.

Still got it, probably always will. Never know when you will need a PPK look alike for James Bond or Nazi officer impersonation.

H&K USP 9mm, got it 10 years ago and gone through 1000s of rounds without a single hiccup.
