    CDNN Competitor?

Is there anyone as big as CDNN? They always have the best prices on handguns. However, they won;t ship to Cali. Is there anyone else?

Some guns in their catalog are marked "California OK". Those might be shippable to CA by them.

Many of their other handguns for sale are variants that are not CA certified, so it's moot.

If you saw a CDNN gun you really liked and couldn't get elsewhere, and you were not a f**kup and dug into details about it being CA certified, I'm sure there's a friendly intermediate FFL who could then ship to your CA FFL. Maybe even one of our Calguns favorites here (CWS or LanWorld)

Appears much CDNN stuff is inventory overflow of special runs, LEO buybacks/trades, or inventory liquidation from shops/distributors that went bankrupt. (They're *still* selling crap from distributor "SILE" - IIRC, they went bust a decade ago or more...)

Other than the guys advertising in Shotgun News, few biggies wanna deal onesy-twosey with an individual, esp from CA. [Idiot Californians have really bollixed things up with their FFLs and caused grief back up the pipeline trying to order non-Rostered guns.] Most of these businessess are large distributors that deal with multigun orders and may even have minimum order requirements (Camfour, Ellett Brothers, Lew Horton, etc.)

Davidson's has a unique Gallery of Guns website where it can hook you up with a local FFL, but I think they quote MSRP prices.

CDNN has stopped shipping all handguns to CA as of the beginning of this year. The reason I was given was, "The new CA law that's coming where we'll have to get approval. It's a management decision." They have stopped marking as CA-OK.

Your only option is an intermediary or getting lucky with places like Bud's, etc.

Does this mean it's time to stock up on CA legal pistols before microstamping and such go into effect?

Yes. When microstamping goes into effect next year, the ATF will say, "All your handgun are belong to us".

All handguns in your possession will need to be microstamping compliant. Apparently, the company that holds the patent will do it for $1.

If you don't, the ATF will ask for yourhand guns... "All your handgun are belong to us". Your option of course is to buy as many handguns now, then move out of CA before the law goes into effect. Then, you can thumb your nose at CA tell the rest of us how stupid we are for bending over to the PRK.

That pretty much sums up how it works on the internet.

          I'm not serious.

I think J&G Sales in Arizona has some good prices.
If you want to buy from CDNN, just have the gun sent to Lanworld and then they can forward it to your ffl. It costs a bit extra, but that's because of CDNN's policy.
