Last I checked, they're considered short barreled shotguns and are no-nos. Perhaps someone will be along to correct me?Originally posted by KestryllAnd that boys and girls is what stepping on your own dick sounds like. -
To be honest I'm not 100% sure on this. My understanding is that if the gun is designed to shoot a shotgun shell, it is therefor a SBS and illegal. However, if you use a pistol caliber shotshell in a pistol that is not directly designed to shoot that specific shell, it is ok. For instance Taurus Judge would be a no-no however loading .38 shotshells in a revolver is fine.
IANAL and this could be incorrect, hopefully someone chimes in to clarify."Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid." - Albert EinsteinComment

The OP (in the dupe thread) stated its for a friend who wants a snake gun.
I was giving advice per the circumstances. If the OP's friend wants to do all of that for a snake gun, then yes, you're right.Originally posted by KestryllAnd that boys and girls is what stepping on your own dick sounds like.Comment

Frozen in 2015, it is falling out of date and I can no longer edit the content. But much of it is still good!Comment
