Glock 21 Lone Wolf Threaded Barrel

Anyone have experience with these? Do they fit the stock slide without issue? Just curious

Threaded barrels are generally a no-go for handguns

      Frowned Upon?
Just curious. And could you place a permanent protector on the threads to make it legal?

Permanent protector would work. Likely have to strip the threads though as disassembly might be a challenge with a perm thread protector.

OK. Got it. Put a bullet button on my Glock.

Say I decide on a Lone Wolf Extended Barrel. Will it work with my stock slide?

You could put the barrel in the slide then pin or weld the thread cap/protector to the barrel and it would be legal.

The problem comes when you want to clean the gun but I guess that is what boresnakes are good for.

Indeed extended barrel's work perfect and are completely legal. I had one from LWD on my G23 and had no complaints.

Yeah. If you have no reason to actually use the threads, just get an extended one and avoid the felony, the bullet button, or modifying to permanently cover or remove the threads.

Anyway that sounds like a good question for LW but I have seen lots of photos of their extended barrels installed in stock slides. I'm no Glock guy, but based on that I'd say yes they work fine.
