So which is really better 9mm or .40 cal?

I've seen a lot of arguments, but I want proof!

in 9mm you can carry more so you are able to deliver more but with .40 you need shot placement as you can't carry as many.

Do you have to hold your gun sideways when you shoot 9mm. That's what I saw in the movies.

Someone told me that was more effective at distance with than a .223 AR, but we need to stay focused here.

Getting proof is gonna be hard. I think .40 is probably better but I shoot best with a 9mm so that's what I CCW with. Be careful cause these threads can get nasty. A lot of die hard caliber fans on this site.

Why do you choose .40 over say .45? Is it for the concealability of the ccw weapon?
