    Random holster question

Hey guys, quick question for anyone that can help. I just bought a Glock 19 and found a good deal on a Safariland sls holster, which is exactly what I've been looking for. however, the one for sale is built to accommodate a rail mounted light, which I will not have on my gun. Will the pistol be held securely (no jiggling) with out the light in the holster built to take a light? I know this may be a dumb question but I'd like to be sure. Any and all help is very much appreciated.

My 6280 ( USP) and 6365 (1911) need the light to be in place for proper retention, so I don't think the model you are interested in will retain without the light either.

Why not just go for a non lb 6280?

As was said above, light bearing holsters need the lights, but you still may have found a deal...

Is the light bearing holster so cheap that you can also get the light that fits in it?
