This song is gaining some steam here in the Bay Area.
It first started getting FULL-LENGTH airplay on KSFO's morning show (and for talk radio that's saying something), with the help of Melanie Morgan, last week and it's beginning to snowball. In my opinion it should be elevated to the national stage as one of the many grassroots musical efforts that remind us who's doing the really hard stuff right now.
Popular culture is a funny thing. It has the power to reflect as well as shape our society. This song carries a powerful and positive message for those in uniform to hear - that there are members of the public at home trying to make a difference by shedding light on the good that they do. Equally important is the fact that the public hears this same message.
Check out the song. If you like what oyu hear pass it along to those you think will appreciate the message it delivers from us to our men and women in uniform. Check out the guestbook too - they're hearing it loud and clear.
Thanks for reading along.
