    Ruger Super Blackhawk Bisley

Here's another vote for the Ruger Super Blackhawk Bisley. Even with fairly hot loads it is a pleasure to shoot. And if you run out of bullets you can club a grizzly bear to death with it, its heavy

Wear a padded leather glove, it makes all the difference. I load up some nice hot rounds using light 200gr JHP and a heavy charge of slow burning powder like H110 or W296, the fireball is Donald Trump huge but not to bad with a glove. I would also advise to wear earmuffs over plugs to keep the flinching to a minimum and make sure to keep your mouth closed.

Grip angles are not the same

They will feel different. For me the Blackhawk trigger gaurd is right against my middle finger which makes it uncomfortable to shoot. Also on the SRH I purchased both Hogue and Pachmayr grips, the hogue comes further down the trigger gaurd.

My Dan Wessen is more comfortable than either my 29 or 629 plus it will handle full house loads better

+1 on that especially if you are shooting a SBH with a 4 5/8" barrel! with thumper loads. My Ruger 44 mags have long barrels, keeps my wife happy ; dampens recoil and muzzle blast a bit further out.
