Ruger Customer Service is First Class

I own a Ruger Mark II which has the typical issue of a difficult tear down process. Well I take full responsibility for damaging the trigger mechanism. When I watched a Youtube video on how to take down and assemble correctly I was able to put it back together right but the trigger didn't feel right. It felt like a squeeky hinge.
Anyway, I sent it in to Ruger customer service via UPS ground and 8 working days later it was returned 2nd day air with a new sear and disconnector at no charge. The trigger is now spot on, nice and crisp.
That is very impressive in my book. I have read good responses from these folks in the past but this is my first experience with Ruger's team.

I have been buying Ruger since the early 1980s and my Dad did before that. This year for the first time I had to send a Ruger pistol in to get looked at (light strikes, locking back when magazine not empty). Eight days later the gun was back, perfectly repaired at no charge. They texted me when repair commenced so that I would know that they were on it. By the way, the 8 days included the 4th of July holiday in the middle of the week.

      That's really encouraging, thanks!
I'm considering sending my P345 in to have it looked at. Can you tell me the process?
Do I call the Chino Valley plant and get a shipping label? Let them handle the shipping?
      What's the first step?

They are a model of customer service, and great guns, too.
My Uncle just purchased a new SR22. One of the mags was defective, so he called them. As I guessed they would do, they immediately sent out a brand new mag, with the return envelope for the bad one. That may seem like a simple thing, but I guarantee some other gun manufacturers would want the bad part back first, before sending out a fixed or replacement model.

I broke my first Ruger Mark III pistol before I learned how to field strip and assemble it correctly. Ruger fixed it no-charge.

That's one way to build customer loyalty. They've got my business.

If you go to their web site they have two addresses. It depends on the product. For my pistol I sent it to:

They are very good, top notch.

I also messed up the gun when I tried to take it a part and put it together. I sent the gun to Ruger and it was back to me in 12 days, including weekends. Pretty damn quick.

Since I own a MKIII, that's good / reassuring to know.
