I have one and it helps with the grip of the Glock.

I had one on my Glock 17. The up side is that it does help maintain grip and they're really inexpensive. The down side is that they make a pretty decent sized grip larger yet. And the first one I had stayed in place all the time. The second one kept slipping a little, which I hated, so I took it off. I have another one sitting in the drawer, but I doubt I'll put it on. I may try trugrip at some point, but right now the gun is sitting in my safe, so it doesn't really need anything.

I have the Hogues on both my Glocks...G19 and G22

What I really liked were the palm swells that gave my hand an additional index point...you have to adjust the height of the sleeve for your palm, not for alignment (appearance)

It helps if you wash the outside of the frame first with dishsoap and water...or just degrease with isopropyl alcohol (I use 91%)...and soften the sleeve in hot water when pulling it on (so it will shrink fit)

I think they're nice in that they cover up the finger grooves on the Glock.. but in turn, they have their own finger grooves. I prefer no finger grooves, but the Handall grooves are better than the ones that come on the Glock. Plus side is.. I think the Handalls are probably easy enough to shave down the grooves if you don't want them.

I have one on every Glock I own and would not have one without it. I think Pachmayr makes one also that looks pretty nice.

I have the Pachmayr ones on mine. I like that they actually get rid of the finger grooves.

Here's an example on my G34 that I previously owned.

                Everyones different. Prime example.. Gp100..

Comes with a hogue grip from the factory.. Some love it and swear by it.. Others throw it away before they even shoot it..

Go try one on your self.. Either buy it and return or sell it or see if the shop will be kind enough to let you try it on a gun or has a gun with one already installed.

I have not used any hand grip additions to my glock because i love the feel of the glock grip already.

The Hogues get REALLY slippery for me, REALLY fast. Since HighLander51 shoots competition, and in the cool coastal climate of SoCal no less, I'd go with his recommendation if you really want a slip-on grip. Otherwise, try the rubberized Talon Decal Grips.

I have them installed on my g19 and g17 and love them...

Does make the grip slightly larger, but doesn't bother me at all and I don't have large hands.

Yea, I've always wanted to try these. I like how the Pachs eliminate the grooves, but I don't like how "tacky" they are to clothing.

Do you do the "hairspray step" of the installation?

                            Well...

Put one on my Gen2 G23 after the first trip to the range, to help w/ recoil control.

Makes the grip fat, soft, and comfortable to shoot, so I just left it on for about Two (2) decades.
                            .
                            .
                            .
During a service recently, I took it off and decided to take the G23 to the range w/o it and I have to say that I like the thinner, firmer grip. it handles better.

The recoil is also no problem w/o it, as, over time, I have become accustom to the G23 and am very comfortable w/it.

I would now consider them "training wheels" for the G23.

I use the rubberized decal grips on my XD ( yea yea, still a poly gun so same idea ).

Very aggressive texture which helps a lot.
