I have a ported xd40 and and the guide rod gets stuck in the slide when i do a field strip to clean. Does anybody else have this issue? I only have ~1500 rounds through her...

I've never figured out how people manage to do this....

Never got that stuck issue, yet LoL
Who knows, your barrel or rod guide might be out of spec.
I would ask Springfield to take a look if it happens pretty often for you.Comment

I'm having the same problem. My xd no more than 5k through it. I have to compress the spring, pull the barrel out, then the spring will come out. Very annoying and not easy. I guess I'll call Springfield.Comment

I have about 10k rounds down barrel, still no issues. But this worries me nowsigpic
