I'll make a separate thread for Apex's extractor when it comes out, no armorer needed

Will the Apex be dipped or non-dipped? Does that even matter?

Have you tried installing the one from Lone Wolf? My new Gen 3 G34 had issues and were fixed as soon as I replaced the factory extractor with one from Lonewolf. 5 minute fix with a cheap part.

There is no reason for it to be dipped, and no it does not matter.

Eeesh, I am picking up my Glock 19 Gen 4 today. Should I wear a mask to shoot tomorrow? I hope this isn't an issue with mine. I just healed my face from an oak tree branch that got me in disc golf and a refrigerator drawer that attacked my lip. Geeze, maybe I need a new hobby.

I don't expect everything handed to me. Just set it down anywhere. Unknown

You won't know until you try it for yourself.

Well thankfully they have the non dipped ones for sale. Looks like I don't have to bother with Apex. Never had issues but nice having extras and a friend would be glad they brought it back.

You're assuming the non-dipped will fix it when the magic is in the 'claw' of the extractor.

I got a Lone Wolf extractor which people say has fixed the issue. I haven't had a chance to test it yet but it's also dipped so Shenaniguns is probably right about it being something else.

True, but what I read on glock talk and other people who ordered it seem to not have problems. In any case I'm sticking with OEM. YMMV.

It's cheaper than the APEX or atleast according to what I read last about possible pricing. Either way it's nice having options, OEM or not.

Glocktalk LOL, that place is the worst place to get consistant information. I'm glad I figured that place out in the early 2000's.
