    Another hicap mag question...

I'm considering purchasing a Beretta 92FS. It comes with two 15 rd. mags. Can I have the gun shipped to my FFL in CA (without the mags) and have the mags shipped to and permanently kept at my family farm in another (less restrictive) state?

Yes provided the gun is on the roster and the seller is willing to ship the firearm to you and the mags elsewhere.
In any type of fight, & especially gun fights, there are no winners ..... just varying degrees of losers. The only fight you win is the one you never get into.

If you're buying from a retailer, sometimes they will swap out the 15rd mags for 10rd ones. I usually ask before I buy. If they are unwilling to ship the mags to another state, you may just have to let them go. I have had the displeasure of having to donate high caps to the out of state seller since they could not replace them with 10rders.

Couldn't they ship them disassembled? You can always sell them as a parts kits and recoup the money for purchasing 10 rounders.
