Bought My First 1911

So this little bugger followed me home today. RIA Tactical 2011. Purchased in SSE config and its now back to its full glory. I have yet to shoot it but the pistol is very smooth, solid and no wiggle in it whatsoever. I also have a Glock 17 and the trigger on this is much more crisp and predictable. I'll be interested to see how the whole pistol breaks in after 1000 rds or so. The sights are VERY clear and I had read some reviews about how the grip safety had hard edges and would hurt peoples hands. Not on mine, but I do have some around the trigger guard that may or may not bother me...but something I wont know until I shoot it. If nothing else I can file it down slightly.

Anyway what good is this without pics, I'll update as soon as I hit the range!

Congrats. I just purchased my first 1911 a month or so ago, a Sig SS Rail model. I absolutely love it. I'm sure you'll love shooting that one. I'm considering buying a RIA 1911. The price is excellent.

1911's are one of the best looking firearms, in my opinion.
