      If you are going to BLM or NF check first, but for the most part you can open carry.

          You can.. I wouldn't personally.

          Glock or revolver are the only things is fully trust camping and function with neglect.

          Others see it differently for their reasons but that's me.

                Depends on where, what you plan on doing with it, and what condition you plan to carry it. Sam posted a good link that will more than likely answer those questions.

                  of course, it depends, on your use.

                  do you want to shoot it, (recreationally)?
                  do you want to carry it?
                  is it a "campground"?, or is it "roughing it" camping?
                  vague question, for a definite answer.
                  That may be a CG first!
