    S&W 659

i've got a S&W 659 and i want to know when it was made.

i have had it since approximately 1988.

i purchased it from it's original owner.

S&W website has a "History of your firearm" (for a $50.00 fee) but i don't want/need that...all i want to know is when it was made.

does anyone know where i can find the age of my auto-loader?

    thanks

Just call S&W 1-800-331-0852 ask for customer service. Give them the serial # and they'll tell you.

Post the serial # here. X out the last few numbers, like ABC123xxx
"He is your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog.
You are his life, his love, his leader. He will be yours, faithful and true, to the last beat of his heart.
You owe it to him to be worthy of such devotion."

^^^ I'd go this route.... But if you can't get through, just give Eddy Murphy or one of the Reservoir Dogs a call.
          They're all partial to the S&W 659!
