    Recommend a holster

I'm looking for holster recommendations for a CZ-75B. It will not be used for competition. I'm mainly looking for an open-carry holster for when I'm around the house or working in the garage. I was thinking something with a belt clip or loop.

I was considering a Bianchi 7105 because they are inexpensive (< $50) and easy to find online (i.e. Midway). Anyone have any experience with these? My biggest concern is I don't want the holster wearing too much on the finish of the gun.

I'm also open to other suggestions as long as they are black in color.

    Thanks.

ditto the blackhawk serpa line. I have one for my 1911, and Sig 228. My daughter has one for glock 17...they are very retentive and fast out of the holster with no hang-ups. Made out of Kydex - very tough and low maitenance.

Well, I'll put in a vote for the Comp-tac beltslide.

          WOW!

I am not the only one "local" that likes CZ's????

          Who knew?

I had my CZ75B 40 S&W on my CCW and used a Mernickle holster but it has no retention device built in... I would suspect that Kydex is tougher on the finish than leather but again, I have not used kydex so have no first hand knowledge.

          Good luck

Just for info: why would you want to open carry at the house???? I believe that concealed is legal on your property.

I have a 5187 from Safariland. Kydex outside with a leather inner. Great holster. Mine doesn't have any restraining because I use it for competition, but they make one with a strap.

I like the comp tac paddle holsters for easy on and off. You can adjust the tension. I have one for my CZ75 compact, 1911 and plan on ordering one for my M&P45.

Thanks for all the feedback. Didnt realize there was a "holsters" section when I posted so my apologies.

I didnt see a CZ option on Blackhawk's page... I may call them to see if they know of one that seems to fit well regardless. Also, thanks for the recommendation on the Comp-Tac's; I'll look into them.

Nope, I love my CZ. The first time I held one was at the recommendation of one of the guys at River City here in Sac.. ever since then I've liked it. Family members have liked it to much that they've bought their own in both 9mm and .40, as well as an SP-01.

As for open vs. concealed... I guess I never really considered concealed. I dont have a CCW so either way I'll only be carrying on my property. I guess the only advantage to concealed is not freaking people out when they knock on my door to sell me something. Is there more to it than this?

Bianchi 100 is a nice inexpensive IWB holster with a simple belt clip.

                    Highly recommend it.

EZ on EZ off Blade Tec with the tec lock. I've seen many a shooter draw their clip on, paddle. Both IDPA shooters and CCW holders.
I move slow but I make up for it by shooting poorly.

When I hit the lotto I'm only shooting factory.

                        Nope, should there be?

As an idea, you may check out Sportsmans Warehouse in Rocklin; they have a fairly large selection of holsters.... you may see something you like (but not in stock unless you got a Glock )..

I have 2 CZ's, both in 40 cal and they are great!

If you are concerned about the finish on the gun, take a good look at Safariland's concealed holsters.
I have a 561 for that very reason.
