Where can I get .....

Does anyone know where I can get that aftermarket (I assume) brass or steel plate that some folks used to put on the bottom of their handgun grips, usually on the Smith Magnas?

I doubt there's anyone commercially marketing them today. Seems the purported use for them was by old lawmen in smacking criminals upside the head and not busting the grips in the process.

The ones I have seen looked like they were custom made. I'd contact a few of the custom grip makers to see if they can accomodate you.

Doubt it would be too hard to make them yourself from brass with a few files, drill bits and a buffing wheel.

Got anyone in mind to try it out on?
