If you need a Springfield slide, you'd be hard-pressed to source one, so I'd consider myself extremely fortunate to find one for sale. Buy it, send the complete pistol to Alchemy, and have Rob weld-up the frame rails and recut them to National Match specifications.

If I were you, I'd consider parting-out the top-end. You will probably net more than your own price-point. Better yet, forgive the OP for his blasphemous transgressions and give him the slide at the price you guys agreed upon.
