Debating on XDS

Hello all, I was just at a LGS and they have the XDS in stock. Priced at $650 and with sse would be $700 not including tax. Is that a good buy. I also wanted to know if the XDS comes with extra blackstrap. I know the XDM does but for some reason I thought the XDS did too.

All reviews I've seen indicate that it does come with replacement backstraps, so unless your LGS has pilfered what came in the box, you should get them.

I say go for it, and count yourself lucky that your local shop has one in stock. I'm still waiting for my LGS to find a supplier that has one so that they can sell it to me.

It's very nice and slim. My hands aren't that big so I was hoping for extra back straps. That's the only thing keeping me from buying it. with tax and dros is 789.95. The gun itself is very sexy. I like the sights on it too.

Edit: My LGS said whatever is in the box is what it comes with. Two mag, 1 holster, 1 mag holder, lock, gun, test casing, and manual. No back straps. I kept asking them but they say nope.

Hmm, weird. A local shop showed me an XDS that was in jail for another buyer, and I'm pretty sure the box included backstraps. It definitely had replacement/substitute fiber optics for the front sight as well, which I noticed were not on your LGS's list of stuff in the box.

Ii love mine and the trigger is better than the Shield (at least my Shield). It does have 1 backstrap but it is easy to miss in the case. It is in a small slot in the foam just above the mag carrier (I dont have the case in front of me but I think it is just above the mag carrier- or could be the holster - whichever is below the other in the case...)

That's the going price if you want one in the PRK. If you like it, go for it. I'm starting DROS on mine on Saturday, and am paying almost the same. (Sales tax must be slightly lower where I am.)
