          well, i guess you could say better the gun snapping in half then him getting a 1911 grip lodged in his thigh...

            Or from a different calguns thread having this piece of metal get lodged where the sun don't shine. Sometimes it is better for things to give.

                Yikes! I'm sure that gun absorbed a lot of force to break like that. HK builds a fine polymer weapon. I'm sure any plastic gun would have exhibited the same damage under the same circumstance.

                        Ouch! he fell off an ATV and landed on his pistol hard enough to break it. That must have left a nasty mark.
