New Trigger for M&Ps ??

I hear the trigger in the Shield is a major improvement and has a very positive reset, similar to Glock.

Saw comments on YT that S&W will be using the Shield trigger on it's new M&P 9/40.

Anyone have any reliable info about this? Would like an M&P 40c but would prefer to wait if they're adopting the new style trigger.

it does have a very crips trigger! i have a shield 40 and i was very surprise on how thight the gun is too.very happy with the gun.

How'd you get ahold of one? I thought none were available in CA till Oct. Or were they available blue label?

The S&W rep told me on the phone a few weeks ago that the Shield trigger would be the default trigger in the new generation M&P's, but he couldn't say when that would actually happen.

i hope that they are backwards compatible with the older generation m&ps. although i still need to practice with whatever i have for now.

Anyone know if the roster will hold this upgrade? (Ya know, just a different color makes it off roster :-|)
