My gunsmith/dealer has been looking for a new example of one of these going on two weeks now. The compact and expert are available, but not the fullsize.Anybody seen any out there?? Thanks Lou.

Have we established that CDNN will sell/ship handguns to California? The last time that I contacted them (early last year) they told me they will NOT sell/ship handguns to California, even if they are on the approved list. Can anyone verify if CDNN has changed their policy? Because I would certainly like to buy some pistols from them.

I too have been looking high and low for one. I found a tan-framed one at Turner's a while back, but that was it.

HK moved operations to their new Alabama plant, which (I was told) slowed down all their operations. Now they're back up to speed, but the USP45f is still MIA.

I already own one, and I think it's a fantastic gun. I'm looking to get another, maybe even with the factory Match trigger installed.

HK moved to a new building, but they still don't have a manufacturing facility here.

USP full sized .45s for California are generally difficult to find. RSR has 5 tan full size in stock, but with 12rnd mags, not the 10rnders.

I called them about two months ago to purchase a P7M8, and was told that it's the owner's policy not to sell any handguns to CA.

Which pissed me off at the time, but then I found a better deal from Willie TA on auctionarms.com.

I found a full size black one at Fowler's Gun Room in Orange today, but they want 900 bucks for it.

If someone had one with only 12 rounders, I'd take the gun with no mags if it was a good price. I've got 6 or 8 new 10 round USP45 mags already.

James at Ordnance Outsellers can't get any from HK right now, I've been bugging him for one since December.

Retting in Culver City had USP 45 Fullsize with Grey Tan and Green for about 700ish new. They also had Compacts and a USPF 40. Just went last week to verifiy.

I got one NIB from a fellow forum member last week via PPT, so it doesn't even count towards my one per 30 day period... and it has factory Meprolights to boot

I did an extensive clean-up of my older one today, slapped a UTL on it, and moved it from the safe to the GunVault for HD duty. (Hopefully) it won't get shot again, because it's no longer a range gun. The new one is taking that place in the main safe.

So the tally is one new USP45, one new Glock 17, both with factory night sights. It's been a good March so far

If only I could find someone with a NIB S&W Performance Center 627 V-Comp...

I purchased my USP 45 fs in San Diego. I live in OC, about 1.3 hr drive. The store is Calfornia Police Equiptment Co.
I really wanted the gun bad, and every one in orange county wanted over $900. i got mine for $799.

Turner's has them on sale occasionally, though I don't think I've seen the USP 45 Fullsize for some time. I got mine through them. CDNN has best deals on 10-rd mags for it ($19.99) so if you find one online with a Hi-Cap just have them keep the mags. They never complain about that as they figure they'll make more $$$ by selling the mag later.
