....the Sig SP2022 is a pain in the *** to field strip? Perhaps its just me and my spoild 2 sec Glock and XD field strips. Im not used to actually having to put in any effort in field stripping a handgun. That little lever button on the right side is kind of stiff and having to line up the little thing a majig in to the hole to pull out the other little thing a majig is a bit tricky. Then I thought I almost broke it a couple of times putting it back together. Oh well, I figured it out after a few minutes and cant wait to break it in at the range on saturday. Anyway, are all Sigs a bit complex to field strip or is it just this one model? Or is it just me perhaps?

The Sig Pros field strip similarly to the USP and 1911s no? It should get easier over time to push the slide stop lever out from the right while lining up the thingy majig on the left side to the notch on the slide.
My well used USP was very easy to field strip while my NIB USPc was a little harder.
The P series of Sigs are easy to strip with a similar take down lever like the XD. -
sounds like a poll to me
i dont own a sig but i know what you mean about xd and glock being easy. my berreta and taurus are as easy. infact of the dozens of guns i own the only one ive struggled with is my kimber. if the take down pin comes out while disassembled its a hassle especially with oily fingers.Comment
