Does Sportsmans Warehouse in Rockin sell handguns?

I need to do a PPT with my brother. Sportsmans in Rocklin is near his work. Any other gunshops near by?

Well I've always wanted to go to SBR but SMW opens an hour earlier which would be more convenient for us both. Do you guys know if SMW can do a handgun transfer? I'd call but they are closed now.

Yes they sell handguns, but I have no idea if they'll do a PPT. Call first thing in the morning.

Last time I was there they had handguns. Not like they do in Reno, but they had them.

I believe that by law they have to if they sell them.
              Thanks for the info.

Yes they do ppt. I do mine there for the most part. I don't like Sac Black Rifle..the guys there think they're all that and pudding. Pisses me off to go in there and it's across the street from where I live. (virtually)

I also like MSI in Roseville. Really friendly.

They have added a gun store, like everyone else, to their business model. They are really friendly. I just bought a G26 from them 3 weeks ago.

If you go in, see Ian or Lynn. Really nice folks..

With so many gun stores out there now, most everyone will price match. Sac Black Rifle has the best prices on Glocks, contrary to what Sportsmans Wherehouse will tell you , so I just asked if they'll sell for what SBR sells for, they say yes and off we go.

I like doing business with friendly people and SBR has not been that for me.

SBR dissapointed me also. Shopping for CCW weapon and SBR had nice inventory. I asked about Ruger SR compact series and his reply was that they are junk not in the same league as S&W and Glock. They also did not have any. Not in the same league, junk? I went around the corner and bought the SR40C at Sportsmans Warehouse

I really disliked the elitist attitude that I got there. If we don't have/sell it- it is junk attitude. I should thank them for motivating me to take a look at the Ruger. I'm sure other people have had different experiences but that was mine.

SW will do the transfer go early morning at open and you will have 6 guys waiting for you at the gun counter.

I agree. SBR could definitely improve their customer service in that regard. I like their selection and they seem competent but not particularly friendly. They are great to walk in and buy a pre-selected gun--you are in and out with no problems. Their staff always seems distant to me.
