Yet another Smith and Wesson question

I was on Smith & Wesson's website today looking at 9mm M&P pistols. Is the pistol listed on their sight as the M&P9L the same pistol as the M&P9 Pro that we can't get in California with out using the single shot exemption?

I just left the DOJ sight and it isn't listed so I guess it didn't matter. Thanks for the quick reply though.

I just purchased an M&P9 Pro a few weeks ago. There are definitely a few difference between the two. First, the Pro has a Novak fiber-optic front sight and Novak Reduced Glare rear sight. The Pro also has a factory trigger job done to it. The trigger pull is slightly lower at around 4 lbs and has a more positive reset that can actually be felt (unlike the standard M&P). The Pro also has no Magazine Disconnect. I absolutely love this pistol. I have shot it in 1 Action Pistol match and one day of practice at the range so far (totaling about 500 rounds). The more I shoot it the better the trigger feels and the more I love this gun. The accuracy and control are amazing. I am very happy I didn't go with a Glock 34.
