Mostly reloads that I make. Sometimes some Factory (wally world stuff) and remember that RANGE ammo at your shooting range when you rent a gun is always RELOADED stuff.

The RELOAD disclaimer about shooting reloads in a handgun is standard legal cover their butt jargon. Every manufacture says NO RELOADS.

There is nothing special about a Glock in regards to shooting reloads. I shoot mostly cast bullets through my Glocks in competition. Follow normal safety protocol and exercise common sense while reloading like your do for any other firearm.

I take it you use a aftermarket, non polygon rifled barrel?

As long as the loads are not bare lead, then you should be fine.

You can shoot moly lead bullets thru OEM Glock barrels, but you have to pay attention because it builds up quicker than in cut rifled barrels. My kid has ran over 12,000 230 gr Bear Creek thru his G21SF and only cleans it after the USPSA match, typically 225 rounds. Now leading is a little worse in 9mm and 40S&W, but I have run 125 Bear Creeks thru my G17L several times, but again, cleaned the barrel after the match. The real issue is that cleaning lead from a OEM Glock barrel is a PITA!!! You have to either use lead sulphate patches, or Chore Boy copper scrubbers, or the old Bullseye mix of hydrogen peroxide and white vinegar, but be careful with how long it stays in. Cut rifled stainless barrels on the other hand take about 2 minutes with normal Hoppes patch and brass brush followed by the bullseye mixture and it doesn't matter how long it sits, it won't pit stainless.

Nope. Stock barrel. My barrel on my G23 looks like I've hardly shot it at all after up to 500 rds without cleaning. As long as the bullets are sized and lubed properly you should be fine. My 9mm barrel gets a little dirtier, but not enough to be an issue. Sure makes shooting cheap!

I used to be worried about this. I shoot moly through a stock glock. This has been hashed before... Glock saying you shouldn't shoot lead in their barrels is for liability reasons for them. I wouldn't push 5000 rounds of unjacketed though a polygonal barrel without cleaning it. But I've done 500 and I am not worried about an overpressure. I clean my guns after every comp, so maybe that is why.

That's pretty much what it comes down to. Clean the barrel when it starts to get fouled and you'll be fine.

Does anybody here shoot remanufactured .40s&w reloads from gunshows, serge, ammobros, miwall, lax firing range, etc?

My buddy shoots Miwall reloads in his 22 and no problems so far. Miwall loads them a bit lighter than factory so I think that helps too.
