i just pulled the trigger and got a .22LR handgun

after months of looking for a .22 pistol
i finally did it and i opted to get the ruger sr22 after looking at several different models this one just kept calling my name. i dont know why it just did and i was very very close in getting a ruger mk3 but didnt but who knows i may just get it next month


now the hard part starts the long 10 day wite till it comes home

i was in the same boat! sr22 or ruger mk3 22/45. i went with the 22/45, 'cause it was on sale at turners for $275. ill probably end up getting the sr22 also.

I just wish the SR22 was a little bigger. Even with the largest grips, its a bit too small in my hands. I own a 22/45 as well and put 1911 G10 grips on em, perfect fit. My girlfriend has been wanting an SR22 for a while, but other stuff keeps coming up.

I like the M&P 22, but that's because its a great trainer for my M&P 40. My wife has a Walther P22 and its a blast. Very similar to the SR22 but we both like it just a little better.

my gun store didnt have the m&p22 on hand they had the sig Mosquito a gsg 1911-22 ISSC M22 and the sr22 as much as i liked the sig i wanted a pistol that i can feed anything,

i like the mk3 alot but i dont know why i just liked the sr22 a little better ... one of the things that kinda turned me off the mk3 was how it had the loaded chamber indcator on the side of it . but i will give it a month and mite just have to get it to

i would have gotton it if it was on sale it was only a 25 dollar diffrence between the 2 guns.. so i decided to spend the extra 25 to get the sr22

Yeah, we HAD to run CCI MiniMag during break in. It works great with everything but the really cheap Remington ammo. The P22 does have a reputation for being ammo picky.
