    $100 Screwdrivers?

    hooly mooly....even tools, manuals, boxes, and cleaning kits have gone through the roof!

    early '50's K-22 "Sight Adjustment Tool"

          LOL I keep my screwdrivers like that one in my gun safes so my next of kin will have some idea they're valuable when I'm gone. I know there are different variants with different numbers of knurled rings on them and that affects their value.

                  I probably threw away a dozen of the 70's era aluminum handled ones that used to come with new Smiths. I found that the shafts kept coming out of the handles or would spin in the handle..

                      Yup. S&W afficianados can discuss such things at great length.

                      I'd rather pay $100+ less and keep the thing in a rug and use a regular screwdriver.

                      Had to pass on a beautiful 3 screw Ruger Blackhawk because it had the box & all the goodies...

                      and was priced accordingly.

                          Here is my $100 screw driver in a $150 box with a $1500 gun (k22 with a three diget serial number)


                          And here is my registered magnum in a $500 box, if the box was mint it could fetch over 1k not even including the gun. The grips alone are worth over $600.
