I use a 50/50 mixture of white vinegar and hydrogen peroxide after shooting lead bullets. You still have to brush, but you can get the grooves shiny, which I've never been able to do with Hoppe's #9 alone.

I got a package of chore boys and it really did work pretty good. It was the only thing I bought at the grocery store and I did get some strange looks(wonder how the crackheads feel?)

Butches bore shine. Saturate and let sit for 2-3minutes. Push a dry one through. Depending on how much fouling you have you may need to repeat but once you don't see blue coloration when you dry patch your done.
