    Yet another SSE question

I am doing a PPT tommorow on an Uzi pistol that I bought as SSE. Ive never fired it or bought it to the range but it is converted back to "normal". My only concern is with the magazines. I have a 20 round and 32 round that I have as parts kits right now. I was told if the magazines go in the "grip" (which they do) I do not have to be concerned with them being over 10 rounds. Is this true? Im sorry for this question, but Im not into SSEs (mainly rifles). Also, this does not have a BB, so the front handguards are off. Am I good to go? Thanks

    You were told wrong.

In order to get large-capacity mags, you have to have either been LEO or gotten them before 2000.

Since you got the Uzi via SSE, that probably means you got the mag parts kits about the same time.

You must not assemble the kits into magazines, unless you first block them to 10 rounds.

That's a different problem from having a 'featureless' weapon. If you already legally had the large-capacity mags, you could indeed use them in a featureless weapon - but first you have to have the mags legally.

Librarian-THANK YOU! I am glad I didnt make that error.

Edit-Also, I just went through my things looking for the mag that came with it for the SSE purchase. I found it, and yes it has a slug blocking it from loading beyond 10 rounds. You are also correct that the others were purchased as mag kits, and I will ensure they stay that way unless they leave the state. Thanks again-Steve
