IM ALSO NOT SURE IF THIS IS IN HER NAME EITHER HER NIGHBOR MOVED AND SOLD IT TO HER WITH ALL THE PAPERWORK IT CAME WITH ALL THE PAPERWORK AND RECIEPTS FORM THE ORIGINAL PURCHASE. I NEED HELP -
Your cousin in Nevada cannot just 'give' you a handgun.
Presuming you live in CA, that is an interstate transfer, Nevada to CA, and the handgun must go directly to a CA FFL.
Since it's going to an FFL, it must also be on the CA Roster.
See also the Calguns Foundation Wiki article on
Interstate transfer - http://wiki.calgunsfoundation.org/Tr...rms_Interstate
--- And, please release 'caps lock' - that is the on-line equivalent of shouting.ARCHIVED Calguns Foundation Wiki here: http://web.archive.org/web/201908310...itle=Main_Page
Frozen in 2015, it is falling out of date and I can no longer edit the content. But much of it is still good!Comment

ALSO IM NOT TO SURE IF THIS WOULD FALL UNDER GIFTED EITHER.I NEED HELP PLEASEIt is really easy, the first step is:
TAKE OFF THE CAPS LOCKS!
After that just read the Wiki as pointed out by Librarian. Good luck and welcome to the forum.

First, it is not in her name. Second, it doesn't need to be. She purchased it legally in NV. The sale was a private sale between two NV residents and no paperwork or registration is required. In fact, even if she bought it new from a dealer, it would not "be in her name" since, there is no registration in NV unless she lives in Clark County. To transfer it to you, you'll need to follow what librarian said.NRA Certified Pistol, Rifle, Shotgun and Metallic Cartridge Reloading Instructor
