I took the MP 45 out for the 3rd range trip today and all I can say is

550 rounds=zero malfunctions. I went the last 350 without cleaning on purpose, and still NO malfunctions.
Bwiese was right. The MP 45 is a natural point shooter. I've been focusing on 7-yard double taps and keeping all rounds in the 9-ring is no problem. Recoil is minimal, and I can accurately double tap as fast with the MP as I can with one of my 9mms. Accuracy has tightened up a bit, but was acceptable right out of the box. It shot a little left for me at first, but I'm getting used to the trigger now, and the problem seems to have vanished.
Comrade wife tried it out and was impressed at how light and easy to shoot it was. She normally shoots a .380 (and is quite good with it) but found the M&P to be unlike my other .45s that she has shot. She noted ease of handling and lack of recoil.
At this point, I can say that the M&P 45 is a great value, and one of the best 45's I have ever shot. It certainly is very reliable! I'll be adding it to my CCW ASAP. Now if I can get my 2 free mags and $50 dollar rebate, I'll be totally good to go with this transaction
