$50 but I'm feeling generous so how about we call it an even $75 if you'll pick up the transfer fees
Depends on condition really, but the cheapest I've seen one go for was $209 and it was prety beat.
This really isn't the correct forum for this question.Last edited by AJAX22; 01-26-2008, 5:45 PM. -
For an honest estimate you should post pictures of all the markings on the revolver, along with the most detailed description you can give.
With all that being said, it's *probably* a Victory model (does it have a lanyard loop on the butt?) and prices vary wildly with condition and any unusual barrel length or markings (I paid $499 for a very clean 5" with Austrian Police markings earlier this year.)/Chris
I have a perfect Burning Man attendance record: zero.

Are the grips smooth uncheckered wood? Is it .38 Special or .38 S&W?Comment

You know, I will give you $76 for it without even knowing what it looks like (As long as it fires)..Originally posted by tankermanI think most folks bubba their AR's because they watch too many action movies, play too many video games and don't understand how to socialize properly, so they fantasize about being 'action hero's'. Kind of like little girls playing dress-up.Originally posted by Douglas711Is everybody stocking up on guys now? Just curious some gun prices seem to be getting high.Comment

Without more detailed info and some pics, it's impossible to tell. Might be $100 might be $1,000.Comment

not to be too cheeky but this happens on a lot of forums..
so heres an anology that always works for me
unseen pile of poop, "may" have gold in it.. value $1-$5
unseen pile of poop "has" gold in it - trust me $5-$10
(just dont know if its dust or nuggets)
pic of poop w/ gold bricks sticking out of it --> poop sells for thousands

'Victory Model' like I thought.
I'm going to say without a close exam, you could probably clear $350.00 on collectors status. It'll bring a premium here in Cali but they made a whole lot of them at one time so it's not particularly rare. But that's what my gut tells me.
Like I said in a previous post, I paid $499 recently for a 5" variant in very nice shape with Austrian Police markings, so YMMV.
EDIT: you might try over on the Smith and Wesson Forum and see what they say. More collectors over there as well./Chris

That is a Victory model.... A model 10 is .38 Special, that gun is marked .38 S&W, a different cartridge....
I have a 3 victory models, it's worth $250.00 + or -...sigpicComment

If it actually says "U.S. Government Property", in the condition shown the value is approximately $400 to $500. If it is marked "U.S. Navy", in the condition shown it is worth $700 to $800. It should also be in .38 Special caliber, not .38 S&W which was lend leased to other countries. The lend lease guns were much less valuable.Comment

If it's a 5" it's a Victory Model,.38 SW. All of the US Military .38 M-10's were 4". I have one of the 38 SW's that shoots .38 spl that somebody bubba-ized by reaming the chambers out, so the collector value is gone, but it still shoots! As long as nobody puts a +P in the gun things will be fine
