What to do to avoid trouble?

So i showed up at Field time target and training in Stanton today with my AR pistol, sig 556 pistol, ak pistol. they freaked out and demanded those to be single shot else i will get into trouble if atf agents show up at the range. i know it ain't the case but someone like that get me to think of how being uninformed can lead to trouble for someone else.

id like to avoid those situation and inform more gun owners about our.rights to own pistols like that. how do you go about doing it? i've thought of printing out atf approval letters and that sort to bring with me. anyone with any ideas?
I'd rather be at the range!

I'd say go to a man's shooting range, sounds like a bunch of pansies there.

Field Time is a good store (especially for reloading stuff) but they have a couple of absolute idiots selling guns. Seriously. I suggest someone call the Manager and mention what the law is. (be nice and do right by Calguns.net)

OP. I would have called first and asked what they considered questionable. You have the option of talking to them before making the trip and getting into a potentially embarrassing position.

I was there to shoot. It is that new range on Beach Blvd in Stanton called Field Time Target and Training. But yeah, courteously is how I want it done and of course we want more advocate for our causes so I want the best way to do it!

Love the range but can't stand some of the range officers there. Some old fart was complaining about my flash hider being obnoxious. It's a comp, but okay.

So what's a range in the area that's okay to bring the AR (or AK) pistols to shoot? I'm building 2 of them right now and don't want to get harassed.
