    Ruger P-89 Ammo

I have shot just about all the 9MM out there. Can anyone tell me what the best ammo and grain Ruger recomends.

The best ammo is the one that shoots well out of your pistol.

Reload your own ammo. Once you are dialed in, you can produce really accurate ammo at moderate cost. For a new reloader, current component costs means it takes longer to break even.

For a low volume shooter (500 rds a month), reloading won't save that much money, but you can practice with ammo that is much more accurate that anything you can buy for under $10.00 a box. A moderate volume shooter can break even really fast.

There is a certain pleasure I get in rolling my own ammo that is so much more accurate than cheap factory stuff.

      YMMV
