So I finally got in my Tactical Solutions TSG-22 Glock Conversion Kits. I am excited because we started shooting 22 Action Shooting Matches at the Taft Sportsmen's Club and they are a ton of fun. I am totally taking advantage of everyone by shooting a .22 AR15 pistol with a Trijicon Reflex in the pistol optics class, but I didn't want to have such an advantage in the iron sights division so I will use it there.
Something is definitely up with the 15 round magazines as they are not that reliable at all. Surprisingly the 10 rounders work like a charm. I took them apart and noticed the 15 rounders have a shorter spring and less compression space because of the 10 round follower/limiter. So the 10 rounders are working great. The tech guy at Tactical Solutions said to try working the springs of the 15 rounders a bit and/or leave them fully loaded for a few days, but I am not sure if that is going to help. I did download the 15 rounders to 10 and they worked fine with the CCI AR15 Tactical ammo.
So once you get sorted out which ammo your gun likes, this thing is looking promising. I just put my Warren Tactical sights on it so that should do me some good. They used a nut attached front sight without lock tight so it came right out and the rear sight was easy to take out with my sight tool too. The Warren Tactical rear sight slides right on so I am having to rely on the set screw to hold it in place, but that will make range adjustment easy.
I am really looking forward to shooting this bad boy on the 28th at the next TSC .22 Action Shooters Match.
