Firearms ownership record question

I did a firearms ownership record on a pistol a couple of weeks ago. I have a pistol that is going to arrive at the gun store in the next few days. I was wondering if they will count my recent pistol registration as my "pistol for the month."

I know the law sates that one may not purchase more than one handgun a month.

That judgement is determined by the date and time of a handgun DROS that was not a PPT. If you filed a VOLREG, that has no effect on the 1-in-30.
