Opportunity Knocks! NHC Chris Costa OR GI #2 w/ Conversion kit??

I have an opportunity to pick up either one of these fine pistols! Any thoughts or comments on which one would be, for lack of a better word a better pick!! Just looking for any comments from any owners or persons in the "know". Thanks!

Both are great guns. You will not be disappointed with either. If I was in that boat I would see which felt better in my hand, and take into consideration if I would ever shoot the 50GI or just the 45. If I was only going to shoot 45 I would not want to pay the extra money for the conversion barrel. Also are the both going for MSRP or are you getting a deal on either of the two.

The Costa Nighthawk would be my choice. Never been a fan of full-railed pistols.

Yah that Costa looks nice although with a 1/2 rail and in .50 GI I might change my mind.

If I were you, I'll buy the GI.

+1, yep that'd be my choice also!

I def. go with the costa, although I could do without the "costa" I've actually have been wanting one myself.

That is an excellent point. I doubt I would shoot the 50GI that much if at all to be honest. I am getting somewhat of a deal on the pistols.

Another excellent point. As I would only be shooting mainly .45. I didn't even realize or take into consideration the conversion or magazine replacements. just was saying to myself "jump all over the opportunity.

I could do without the "Costa" as well! The dealer has multiple NightHawk Pistols, maybe I will look into those too!

guncrafters are 2nd to none. wheres the model 2 at? seriously. i cant talk anybody out of a nighthawk but iam not a fan of the "costa" on the slide. awesome gun and costa may be a bad dude but the more "bare" the slide the better in my book. i shoot the 50 round and reloading is a must. you can get the ammo down to a comparable price with 45 factory ammo. you flirting with greatness either way.
Iam a good shot. At least i think i would be. Iam a good free throw shooter.

Yeah, the more I think about it I would be better suited with a NightHawk. I'm a big fan of the "bare" slide too. I do not do my own re-loads and do not want a pistol just to be a "Safe Queen". The Dealer is a good friend of mine and we served for nearly 10 years together. Here is more choices.

All joking aside, I think it will be the Predator if things work out. I do not like the "Costa", but like the rail, and the GI I think will be more work than play.
