Usually when you do a conversion it's from 40 cal to 9mm. The 40 cal barrels are fatter then the 9mm. So to convert your gun you would need to get a 40 slide and a barrel if that would work on your frame. You would also need mags. It would probably be cheaper to find one of those deals for a $300 Sigma 40 cal pistol. Mark

A conversion barrel is usually available only when you are going down in caliber from the original, not up like you are hoping.

Just unloaded my .40 cal sigma (got 280. for it) for a S&W 329PD, never did like the sigma, it shot to the right all the time.

          Sell your Sigma, & get a Glock G23 (.40 S&W). That's exactly what I did!

thanks people for the info, i may still keep an eye out for a barrel/slide combo on one of the gun auction websites.

i like the sigma for all the bad press it gets it feels and shoots ok for a cheap gun.

See the Turners ad (http://turners.com/engage/displayads.php). They have on sale and with the rebate, the cost is $270 (with 4 mags) before tax/fees.
