    LCP SSE on CCW Permit

I apply for my CCW permit in September in Stanislaus County and was wondering if there is any issues with having an off roster gun on your permit? I'm looking to get an LCP for those times when my Glock 19 won't work. Will there be any issues with that or is it fine as long as it is registered to me?

No issues; off roster pistols can be put on your CCW!

No issues with Sacramento. I have an HK45c (off roster) as my primary carry weapon on my permit. I think they only care that it is registered to you. That's it.

You may have difficulty if you try to put a krinkov style pistol or something chambered in .22 short on your permit, but any "normal" looking off-roster pistol should be good to go.

The carry permits here in CA are actually pretty nice if you are lucky enough to be able to get one.
