So I bought a LC9 and went to shoot it and noticed my shots were getting worse. So on the way home I just couldn't understand why I couldn't hit anything. I called my ccw instructor and told him I would have to put off my appt. I told him what was going on and he asked if I checked the sights to see if they shifted. I looked and sure enough the front sight drifted to the right from the recoil. I called Ruger and I told them the problem. They then asked for my info and told me a new slide would be shipped out and when I got it to send the old one back. WOW I was shocked. I got the new one yesterday and the front sight was pinned. Pretty awesome service!

Yup! Same thing (sorta) happened to me. My rear sight on my SR9 was off and despite taking the screw out and banging on that thing with a dowel, nothing moved the rear slide.
Emailed Ruger and had a new slide in the mail for me. The awesome CS agent even found me an all black slide to swap me out as I was not digging the SS.
Hope to get a Ruger 1911 soon.Comment

I've owned plenty of Rugers and still own a few. Haven't bought one in a while and never had to send any back to fix a problem that should have been caught during production. With Rugers prices climbing so high and their production wows I keep hearing about, makes me have second thoughts about buying a new production Ruger.
I keep hearing "great customer service". I guess you need it if you have production problems. What gives?"The democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those who are willing to work and give to those who would not."

i've purchased 3 rugers in the past two years, and have not had to send any back and all have had over 1000 rounds through them.
10/22 Standard
SR40C
MKIII Target Stainless
very impressed with all weapons (although I sold the SR40C to my uncle since I can't afford the ammo anymore lol)
needless to say the MKIII is my most often fired handgunComment

OK, that made me feel a little better."The democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those who are willing to work and give to those who would not."

This is one of the reasons I own Rugers. I have called CS in the past for parts that have broken (spring retainer clip P944) and a part I broke on my SR9
and they have shipped them to me for free. I will always own Rugers and will be adding more to my collection.

I own 2 Rugers (SR9c, SP-101) they have been flawless with over 2k rounds of misc ammo though them. I called Ruger a while back for a couple of magazine sleeves and it was on my door step in 2 days. I also called for a technical question regarding my SR9c and they transfered me to a smithy who seemed to know the gun intimately. It was nice to deal with a compitent employee who knew what the F he was talking about. + 1000 for Ruger customer service and +10000000000000000000 for Ruger firearms!Comment

A few times I had minor issues like missing screws for my Ruger Mini-14 ranch rifle and a part here or there.
All it took was an email with my word what I needed (I was actually asking where on site I could buy the parts) and the CS rep just replied asking for my address. A few days later I had a brown envelope with everything...Comment
