Hit up Targetmasters West last night around 10:15PM, rented a Ruger Single 6 22lr since it's too much fun to shoot and the range has a $2 revolver rental special going on.
By that time the range was almost empty, so it was nice having a bay almost to myself except for a couple other shooters.
What I noticed this time shooting alone was the difference trigger control makes, it's like night and day when you have proper trigger fundamentals and when you don't. I could tell i was shooting better when I was focusing on the trigger pull.
One thing that helped, and makes me need a 22lr, was switching between 45 acp and 22lr. I noticed that as you switch calibers you're less fatigued and you can practice fundamentals a lot better.
Was also playing around with some HDR settings, here's how the pics came out. Target was at 8 yards, groups are 8 shots each.
