ive been in the market for a beretta 92 for a while now and i finally found someone in the market place that is interested in my SA-XD .45 4" and is interested in trading. i currently own two firearms chambered in .45 acp (RIA 1911 and the XD) so giving it up for a more economical caliber like a 9mm would only be beneficial to me in the long run. even though i love my XD to death, i eventually plan to rebuy it somewhere down the road or maybe SSE/PPT a XDm .45. thing is even though i feel its an awesome trade, i havent been able to find another XD in .45acp in our marketplace nor my local gunstore in a long time, while XD chambered in 9mm or .40 is quite common. are people holding on to their XD.45s and so should i? could use some guidance since i tend to get sorta attached to my firearms and i would be devastated if i am unable to replace it.

The marketplace will have an XD45 if you're patient. When I bought my first 1911, I was looking for stainless in San Diego. Ended up buying from my local range because I got impatient. In the weeks after breaking it out of jail, no less than four stainless 1911s showed up in the marketplace in my area.
If you're patient, the gun you're looking for will show up.Comment

you're trading apples for oranges. they are both fantastic systems but remember to always trade up. if it were an italian 92 in %90 condition i would trade, if it were beat and worn i would hold out.Friendships must be built on a solid foundation of alcohol, sarcasm, inappropriateness, and shenanigans.Comment
