Looking for a Local Glocksmith Armorer in OC

I recently purchased a Glock 17 and have been having FTF's issues around the 80-100 round mark. I've fired a total of 400 rounds through the gun but each time I get FTF issues. I am certain my grip and stance are firm so that doesn't seem to be the issue. I'd like to have a Glock Gunsmith take a look at the gun rather than mail it in to Glock and hope they can pinpoint the issue.

    Have you considered your ammo?

The fate of the wounded rest in the hands of the ones who apply the first dressing.

could be you might need to polish the feed ramp.

            Glock 17 FTF Issues

I've tried multiple magazines as well as polishing the feed ramp with no luck. Any of the rentals I tried I have no issues (Glock Rentals) so I know something is going on just not exactly sure what is causing it.

I just contacted Mike over at OC Armory and they got back to me very quickly. I will be following up with them and I'll be sure to let you know what the problem is. I appreciate everyone's help.

Come by Norco Running Gun on any Saturday and I'll take a look at it. 1 out of 100 is not ammo, mags, or lack of a polished feed ramp or the barrel. What exactly happens during the FTF(feed or fire)? I see this kind of stuff all the time with new Glock shooters

                  FTF Issues

Highlander it's not always 1 out of 100 rounds. Sometimes I can get 2-3 FTF's in a row when shooting 100 rounds.

The problem is when the ammo tries and loads it's pointing somewhat downward, then gets jammed. I'm gonna try and get a picture next time I go the range. The reason I don't think it's me is that I've rented several Glocks and other Handguns in the past and never had this issue (not one FTF or FTE).

Well, this problem can only be diagnosed at the range, we have to function fire the weapon to know for sure, just show up at Norco Running Gun, we will figure it out in 2 minutes...
