I took my new M&P 45 to the indoor range for the break-in shoot. 200 rounds, zero malfunctions. This gun shoots alot like my SW9G (go figure). The M&P is a bit more accurate, and handles better.
It's not quite as accurate as my Ruger P345 or my 1911's, but I've been told the M&P tends to settle in and accuracy gets better after a few hundred rounds. I noted it tends to shoot to the left just a bit, but that could be me not being used to the trigger.
Overall, the M&P handles well and feels good in my hand. Accuracy is good enough right out of the box. I like the 10-rd capacity. Sights are excellent, ergonomics good, reliability is outstanding. Disassembly and cleaning are very easy. I really like the light weight, even fully loaded. After a few more hundred rounds of break-in, the M&P 45 will most likely get added to the CCW.
