    Tac courses?

1st off mods: if this is in the wrong place please move it to the right one: I apologize.

Where in SoCal ( more specific around la/sfv area) are there any good tac courses?ive done a little research but from what I've found everything is great I just want to hear from those who've ACTUALLY DONE a begginers tac course (handgun1...etc) as I'm looking to improve my shooting skills (or lack thereof lol) any/all info is appreciated.
    OR
Perhaps if anyone is interested in taking one I'm always looking to do something like this in groups more then alone.

I am also thinking of taking my first tactical class.

After reading a lot of the posts here, I like to price, location and schedule availability of Phoenix Tactical Solutions.

I am thinking of taking the Aug 11 Handgun 1 course.

                Just read their website.

Tactical handgun course 1 requires "body armor"?

You're obviously not high speed/low drag enough for them.

Darren always runs a good class. Small instructor to student ratio and doesn't require body armor for the class.
Darren is a former Marine and brings in former and current US Marshalls, LA SWAT, SEALs, Delta, Army Scout Snipers to help teach the classes.

Another vote for TASC. Website is www.stcrispian.com

I took the rifle 101 and 202 and had a good time. Stan was patient, and gave really good feedback to me. I will not hesitate to take his courses again.

In my opinion, by breaking up the courses to smaller 4 hours, you can retake the upper courses more often, concentrating on the more advanced and fun things.
